Demo 2: "Sopwith 3D"
--------------------

Controls:
The plane can be controlled using either the mouse or the keyboard.

Keyboard:
W Accelerate (Throttle up)
S Decelerate (Throttle down)
Arrow keys Aim / fly
Space bar Shoot machine gun
R Reset
Esc Quit

Mouse:
W Accelerate (Throttle up)
S Decelerate (Throttle down)
Mouse Aim / fly
Left mouse button	Shoot machine gun
R Reset
Esc Quit

How to play:
This is a very simple flying and shooting game. You control a biplane, which you can maneuver using either the mouse or the keyboard. There are several buildings available for you to shoot. To take off, hold W until the plane is moving, and then press the up arrow or move the mouse upwards. (Once you have accelerated, you can release W - you will stay at your current speed.) Use the arrow keys or mouse to move your plane around, and the space bar or left mouse button to shoot. Please note that the targeting reticule is not perfect - bullets do not always go exactly through it. In practice, it is often best to aim below your target.

Further notes:
This demo was intended to show off the fact that the physics engine can simulate more than just soft bodies: both the buildings and the plane in this game are simulated using the physics engine. Of interest is the fact that the buildings can be partially destroyed, rather than being either in perfect condition or totally obliterated as in most games. The plane can also be partially damaged - say, by having a wing clipped off by hitting a building - rather than being completely alive or completely dead. (For the present, damage to the plane does not affect the flight dynamics, but that would be an easy change to make). This demo, like the others, is far from a complete game, so don't be suprised if it is rough around the edges. One thing to look out for is the fact that in this world, there are walls - and even a roof! - so don't fly too high or close to the edge of the environment. That would certainly be fixed given more time.
